I learned quite a bit about myself, my strengths, weaknesses, my leadership style, and several admin duties during my time at Maple Street! If I could do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat! Changing several things about myself of course! This place is great for a person who has the ability to stay cool, calm, and collected during high stress situations and has the ability to hold themselves accountable at all times.New health system focused on improving safety and outcomes, advancing health equity and accelerating medical breakthroughsĬHARLOTTE, N.C. A consistent deep cleaning schedule needs a bit of work, also. I liked the Leadership team here, but their communication skills definitely need work, especially between each other! The Leadership Team is good about holding the entire team accountable for their actions, but wasn’t consistent, I really hope it is getting better. Maple Street, Homewood is perfect for someone who is a quick thinker and always up for a challenge! A typical day for me started at 6am, sometimes earlier depending on the number of caterings the day had and finished around 3pm! Workplace culture is great! It’s not your typical restaurant, you get to have fun with your coworkers and still get the job done! The hardest part of the job for me personally, was multi-tasking in the kitchen! It didn’t matter how hard I tried or put forth the effort, I still couldn’t master it! Another difficulty I had was anticipating everyone’s needs in the kitchen! To succeed here a person has to be able to think quickly and quite a few steps ahead. Do you thrive in a fast paced environment? Are you looking for a job that could potentially turn into an amazing career? How about a place that you know you’re not going to get yelled at for making a simple mistake? If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, then Maple Street is the place for you! My experience with Maple Street wasn’t horrible! Just like with any job/career, you have your good days and not so good days.
